Nothing would happen badly, worse case is the check engine light MIGHT come on due to the oxygen sensor being moved. but besides that it gives a great sound, and power to your car
It resides just past the catalytic converter. Underneath the truck about where the passenger would sit.
catalytic converter
I'd assume too much soot would build up and the truck would not start.
Yes it does and if you would simply crawl under your truck and look up you can see it.
Catalytic converter plugged?
A catalytic converter can be ruined by a engine that is missing and dumping raw fuel into the converter.
That would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter. This sensor monitors the efficiency of the catalytic converter.
Clogged converter, running too rich or a misfiring plug.
Where could I find diagram for 2003 catalytic converter on a Mazada 6
The catalytic converter(s) would be found in the exhaust system between the engine and the muffler.
Upstream would be before the catalytic converter. Downstream would be after the catalytic converter.
well on a 93 i would suspect u only have one which normally is in front of the catalytic converter on ur exhaust piping Engine-------o2 sensor--catalytic converter----muffler--exhaust tip in that order
