Never... but i guess if you think it can happen it will be today because they would have traveled back into time there for the technology is here now .... i say they traveled back into time because the future is what you make it and if you skip it to get to it then nothing has happen so there would be no future...

If you killed yourself as a baby, or very early into your life, it would have less repercussions because you would not have as many connections with other people. If you killed yourself later in life, it would appear to have been a murder since the time difference would contribute to you looking dissimilar to your younger self. When you kill yourself, theoretically, you would die and then disappear because you would have erased your existence. ............................................................................................................................. They sound almost sensible but with a little thought you can see they are ridiculous, self contradictory and just go around in circles in most cases. If you went back in time and killed yourself then there would be no one to go back in time to kill you so it could not happen. This is because it's impossible for you to just disappear. It violates the laws of physics. The moment you killed yourself in the past, you rewrite the following years. Say that you stop a man from committing suicide in 2009. Then later, in 2010, you travel back to 2008 and kill yourself. The man you would have saved in 2009 actually commits suicide. Now, what happens to you, however, is a bit more complicated. You (The You from the future) will still exist after you kill the you in the past. The reason, the moment you travel back in time, the timeline you know is rewritten to compensate for your actions. However, you from the future is an exception. Since you had the good fortune of being in the past during the events, you will not be rewritten along with the rest of the timeline. There isn't a split in timelines, just the rewriting of one. And somewhere along the years that follow, a very lonely time-traveler that shouldn't exist does.
