In Homer's Odyssey, Telemachus is the son of Odysseus and Penelope. If someone were to murder Telemachus, it would likely lead to severe consequences such as revenge from Odysseus, a father's grief, and potential retribution from other powerful figures in Greek mythology.
he would be killed
He would get murdered.
They would lock the child up I think
Various things happen to Telemachus, if that is the son that is spoken of. King Agamemnon drops Telemachus in front of Odysseus' plow to test if Odysseus is truly insane. Telamachus is blessed by Athena several times. Telemachus is helped to be raised by Eumaeus, the swineherd. Telemachus is nearly the victim of assassination plots by his mother's suitors. Telemachus does much in his life, so it would help to be more specific.
If anyone knew when or where it would happen, then it wouldn't BE terrorism any more, would it?
No! He's not that kind of person, and if he did, he would be in jail!
No. They would have to exist, for that to happen.
Upon Telemachus' return to Ithaca, he would have reunited with his mother Penelope and set about reclaiming his place as the rightful heir to the throne, which was originally held by his father Odysseus. Telemachus would have faced the challenge of dealing with the suitors who were vying for his mother's hand in marriage and would have needed to assert his authority as the new ruler of Ithaca.
It's not clear why anyone would be that stupid, but PROBABLY nothing would happen as a result. Still, why risk it?
They wanted to murder Telemachus before he was full grown and a bigger problem. They originally try to prevent Telemachus from leaving Ithaca, but he escapes. In response the suitors put twenty men on a ship and plan to ambush Telemachus on his ship. Once Telemachus was out of the way, he would no longer be a barrier between one of them marrying Penelope.
because Nestor was so kind and loved him so that he would delay Telemachus' departure
The could squander it, be robbed and murdered, or as the more prudent did, invest the money in land and property.
