What would happen if carbon dioxide (co2) was removed from a plants environment?

The plant would die. Plants need co2 to make oxygen which humans and animals need to exist.

What would happen if humans killed the plants of an ecosystem?

If humans killed ALL plants on earth, we would all suffocate. This is because plants convert co2 (carbon dioxide), which is exhaled by all animals, back into oxygen through photosynthesis. If they didn't convert co2, the earth's oxygen supply would depleat and we would fill the atmosphere with co2, and we would have no oxygen.

How do breathing happen?

its cycle between living animals(yes this includes humans) and plants. when plants breathe they inhale CO2(carbon dioxide) and exhale O(oxygen). when animals breathe they inhale O(oxygen) and exhale CO2(carbon dioxide). without plants we would not be here becaude the air would not recycle CO2 and O.

What would happen to the plants ability to make food if there were no CO2 on earth?

If earth had no carbon dioxide then no plants (or animals) would have ever evolved because they all need it for respiration to take place.

What will happen if deforestation continues to the green plants on the plants?

The excess CO2 in the atmosphere will increase global warming.

What will happen if deforestation continues to destroy the green plants on the plants?

The excess CO2 in the atmosphere will increase global warming.

What would happen to plants nutrition if plants did not have roots?

What happen to the carbon in the plants when they die?

Released as CO2 by the action of decomposers such as bacteria and fungi

What would be the expected effect on plants if the atmospheric co2 concentration was doubled?

Since C4 plants need for CO2 is more than C3 plants, doubling the concentration of CO2 will have more positive effect on C4 plants. If CO2 is a limiting factor for photosynthesis, both C3 & C4 plants will have positive effect.

What would happen if co2 was removed from a plants environment?

All life that contain cells which need oxygen would eventually die out. Part of it's main source of survival is to breathe oxygen, just like we need food to survive.

What gas would be released by plants if there was no light present?

CO2

How would the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere changing if there were no plants?

There would be significantly more CO2 in the atmosphere because plants take in CO2 during photosynthesis and fix the carbon into glucose.
