Eventually some of the metals with lower melting points would begin to melt and form pools - of tin and zinc, for example. As time went on, more and more metals would melt out of the rocks. In the end, the crust of the Earth would become molten.

Early in this process life would be wiped out.

The earth would stay heated up because of the greenhouse effect.
