maybe a bit boring and the world would be so sad..... :(
Castles are like castles. Some more recent buildings have been built to look like ancient castles, e.g. Banwell Castle in Somerset, built by the Wills family, of tobacco fame, in the 19th century.
They built churches and castles and stuff like that
The first castle were a defencestructure or a fortress. Monarch (royalty) or nobles were the usual residents of these castles.
King William I would have got his barons to build motte and bailey castles all around England. He built the castles because there were so many rebellions. All the peasents didn't like that King William had killed their former King to gain the throne. If the peasents triedd to do anything out of line, they would get killed by the many soldiers
Ottonian castles look like Medieval palaces that tower over the rest of the land. They were often built on hills or the tops of mountains and made of stone.
nothing, it was never built. however had it been built it would have done computations, like any modern computer but much slower.
Spent it. Built castles and some like Carnegie gave it to causes.
some castles are old and rotty like the motte and baileys it is made of wood so the wood would have rotten. the stone castles would be in bits now castles now are old and some are still left for visiting.
Motte and Bailey castles were built in the 11th century just after the Battle of Hastings in 1066. They were built by King William I (William the Conqueror) who was the new King of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. He built the Motte and Bailey castles all over Britain because all the people didn't like him and wouldn't obay him. Having castles all dotted around the Contories made sure that people did what they were told and make sure that there were no rebellions. If people didn't do what they were told, his knights would kill them or arrest them.
Yes they were, because they built some of the first castles, like motte and bailey castles by hand and with only a few tools to help them.

there is no such thing as a "fake castle" as long as it looks like a castle and is built like a castle, it is a castle. but, there are more than 1,400 castles still standing in England.
