ANSWER by Engl1sh: Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what it would be like, but to guess I would say that Germany would have taken completely over Europe. At the time of Japan's attack, Germany had already been bombing Britain, taken over many countries already, and was facing only a possible defeat in Russia. If Japan had not attacked the United States, America would not have joined the war (at least not as quickly as it did), and it's likely that Japan would now control China, Germany would have invaded all of Europe after eventually conquering Britain, and the United States would have possibly ended up in an even bigger war against Germany/Japan. Not to mention the fact that millions more would likely have been killed by the ruthless Adolf Hitler (who wouldn't have committed suicide).
China did not attack Pearl Harbor, Japan did.
japan knew where to attack Pearl Harbor because due to recent research the japanses knew where and when the would attack.
After they attacked Pearl Harbor, they would attack Australia of course.(After they got more troops that is)
Gotta go where the targets are.
Pearl harbor was caused by America not sending oil and other supplies to Japan for fear they would use them against us!
The US would have still gone to war; Japan also attacked the Philippines.
They choose to do attack pearl harbor at 7:55 am on a Sunday because the knew that the Americans would be recovering from a long drunk night. And that they would not be ready to fight and protect the ships that japan planned on destroying.
America would no longer be able to resist Japanese expansion.
Reach an agreement
America would no longer be able to resist Japanese expansion.
Attack the Philippines instead
Japan was attempting to wipe out the American Navy which would in effect reduce American participation in the war. Had our air craft carriers been in the harbor during the attack, Japan may have succeeded.
