Well I just blew a head gasket in my 2000 Chevrolet Malibu and my mechanic said it would take 2 to 3 days to fix and would normally cost about $1200 to $1300 to fix but he is charging me $700. I live in Atlanta so I'm not sure if location matters. I've looked elsewhere but $700 is the cheapest so carburetors I trust them don't go to somebody u don't trust.
if it is coolant and not condensation. I would say you have a blown head gasket. the coolant will smell sweet. but if it is a bad head gasket it will run hot also.
Ours is blown too and one repair shop said up to 1500 i think and the one we bought it for said around 750
