What would life be without batteries?
we wouldn't have portable things like sell phones
Batteries store energy. Just think about some of the ways batteries are used, and what alternatives you would use if you couldn't use batteries. Here are some examples:* Modern cars use batteries to start the engine. Without batteries, you would have to push the car, or - as I have seen myself some 40 years ago - turn the engine by hand (using a crank) to get it started. * Cell phones use batteries. Without…
Consumer's Union has tested alkaline batteries on several occasions. They have determined that all name-brand alkaline batteries have about equal life expectancy. Lithium batteries last longer, but are much more expensive. Between Duracell and Sony, I doubt you would detect much difference in life with equal usage.
batteries makes life on earth easy and more interest.Think how would life be like if we never had this cells?Life would be boring and difficult.kids would hardly get entertained. In industries workers would have to work many hours to produce energy essential for the industrial activities.thanks to the the scientist who came up with the ideas of inventing batteries
The batteries in your Jeep seem to last about a year what else could be causing the batteries to die?
Do quickcharge household battery chargers damage or shorten the life of rechargeable batteries as opposed to slow or regular chargers?
Not significantly. So long as it is done using a properly designed smart charger, most NiMH batteries can be recharged in about an hour without any damage or significant reduction in their life. However, NiMH batteries must only be rapid charged with a charger specifically designed for charging NiMH batteries. Chargers designed to rapidly charge NiCd batteries can overcharge NiMH batteries. While it may be true that rapid charging NiMH batteries can reduce battery life…
Duracell rechargeable batteries are reliable, but like any brand of batteries, the life will depend on how the batteries are used, maintained, and stored. Rechargeable batteries do not have as long a shelf life as most other batteries, so they do have to be maintained. With proper care the Duracell rechargeable batteries will give you many hours of camera use, but it is always wise to carry extras.
it depends on what you mean... the earth without plant life is not good. the earth is essentially plant life, so in essence it would just be a floating rock. But the earth without human life-- now that's a different question. Without human life it would just go on the same way it always would. Nature eating, protecting, and producing nature. the weather would be purely natural. But there would be no evolution. No discoveries…
