I would say YES
I would say so as long as the diameter of the pipes match
Anything is possible, but that would take more work than the car would be worth.
I would say that it's in the drivers side panel by where your left foot would be but behind the side panel.
It's under the dash, on passenger side, all the way under where your feet would be next to fire wall.
I have an sc400 as well as a Mustang Cobra. I have flowmaster super 40 series on the Cobra and they sound very good. They are recommended for late model fuel injected cars. I would assume this would be the best route to go. I would be very interested to hear the SC w/ some flows.
If you're speaking of oil, it would have to be burning it and your car would have a lot of smoke coming from the rear while driving/.
The only legal way to acquire that information would be to obtain the factory service manuals for the car. You might get lucky and find them on eBay (digital versions are not legal version of that manual -- paper only). You can also order them from Lexus through a Lexus dealership for approximately $150.
My 1992 Lexus Sc400 was doing that at stop lights or when stopped. It would stall completely and idol funny too. I had to replace the timing belt because of that. So check that and see if that is the problem. It cost me 700 dollars to replace the timing and water pump so it is not to expensive. Ever since I changed the timing I have gotten way better gas mileage too. Hope this helps.
Yes, they are just lower profile tires.
It would depend if the engine is a non-interference engine or not.
