My 1992 Lexus Sc400 was doing that at stop lights or when stopped. It would stall completely and idol funny too. I had to replace the timing belt because of that. So check that and see if that is the problem. It cost me 700 dollars to replace the timing and water pump so it is not to expensive. Ever since I changed the timing I have gotten way better gas mileage too. Hope this helps.
When my airbags went off, the controls on my steering wheel quit working, when the new harness was installed, everything works fine
Steering/suspension components worn? Bad steering rack? Power steering pump getting weak?
i am sure the sound you are hearing is the half shafts (cv shafts) they are easy to replace. i would get it replaced asap. you dont want them to actually fall apart while you are driving.
Probably because the spring-loaded horn plunger is getting pinched causing it to find a ground within the steering wheel. You will need to loosen up the steering wheel and retrace your steps.I hope this helps you.
did you try the control module or the switch just behind the dash on top of the steering column
The squeak possibly could be tierods. My '98 Mercury had a bit of a squeak coming from under the front and I figured it to be just old car sounds coming on. The steering started getting a bit tight and shaky, from there I was told the steering trouble was undiagnosable, but the tirods needed replacement and the squeaking was what alerted them to that. I went to a different mechanic to have that fixed and they told me the steering trouble was definitely related to the tierod. After they replaced that the squeak and steering trouble was gone.
You have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. STOP driving this car immediately or you will do serious damage to the engine. The distributor is getting ready to go out!!!Get a new one.
Somepeople thinks so but they will never be replaced.
This has happened to me. I thought most likely it was the fuel pump getting ready to go out soon. So I had that replaced and it hasn't stalled out since. Knock on wood.
There is a shield that prevents water from getting on the PS belt. It is missing or damaged. Also check to see if the belt is properly tensioned.
i have a 93 nissan and the front brakes are getting hot when driving
