If the injectors are under the valve cover.... then I would suspect a broken or leaking fuel return line that connects the injectors together and returns excess unused fuel back to the tank. If they are outside not under the valve cover then their might be a problem with the cyl head. It may be cracked. I don't believe the injectors are under the valve cover but may be?? If so then if the line is broken or the sealing washers that seal the banjo bolts to the line are leaking it's a direct path to the oil pan. If the cyl head has a fuel galley drilled and their is a crack from overheating, lack of maintence this too could deliver fuel to the crank case. Only other thing could be if the piston is cracked and the fuel is pushing past the crack(s) and getting in their that way?? I'd lean towards that because a engine that old probably has exposed injectors and no fuel galley due to the injection pump is the delivery system for a vehicle this old. So i'd lean towards a possiable piston or ring issue. Check compression if not at least 400psi then their is an issue with that or those cyl. Hope this helps. Good luck!!
If it is a diesel then it holds 4 quarts. I would recommend you use any of these major brands. Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w-40 weight, Shell Rotella T 15W-40, or Chevron Delo 400LE 15W-40 weight.
