Could be a idle control sensor but your best bet is to get the computer checked and see what codes come up.
No, but it will cause your check engine light to come on.
It happens only the highway at about 100 km/h.
I would check for any fault codes first with an obd tool, is the check engine light on?
I would need a little more information about your problem. Did the check engine light come on? After it shut down did it start back up? How were you driving when this occured?
the oil presser going up and down is why your check guadges light is coming on.. probly need a ned oil pump but check the sender first, much easer and cheeper to replace..
you may have a circuit or you can check your doors for any malfunctions
The check engine light will come on in a 2004 Kia Sedona 431 if a misfire is detected, the timing is wrong, or a weak spark is detected. There are many other possible causes which can be narrowed down by connecting an OBDII code reader to the vehicle.
Low brake fluid, pads worn down, other problems.
Low fuel level wouldn't normaly cause the 'check engine or check engine soon' light to come on, the never vehicles will have a 'low fuel' light that will come on when you get down to a couple gallons left. If what you are seeing is a 'Check Engine Soon' light or similar you need to have the vehicles computer scanned to find out what the problem is, vehicles have all kinds of sensors on them that can cause that light to come on and a scanner will read the code of the offending part for that vehicle. Take it to an auto parts store (usually free or minor fee) or take it to the auto dealer and pay more money to get it scanned, if the vehicle is in warranty take it to the dealer.
Auto Zone will check your engine light for free... Write down the codes and go from there.
This sounds to me like one of the sensors could be giving you a problem. The areas I would look at are the throttle cable, and check the sensor connections one may be loose, with the choke light coming on that would point to the throttle cable or the idle. Check out the articles at Auto Tap they are pretty good on this area. There are several DIY aticles if you go back to the homepage, I put the link for the Check Engine Light below
The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.
