A broken blower fan. Had that on my Ford Explorer. Not a big deal to have a mechanic fix it, under $200
I don't believe a 1994 Ford Explorer has a knock sensor - OBD I / EEC IV system
There is no "knock sensor" on a 4.0L engine
Ford did not start using knock sensors on the Ford Explorer engines until 1996, when they switched to the EEC-V system.
I drive a 1995 Ford Explorer and as far as I know it doesn't have a knock sensor My Haynes repair manual engine wiring schematic shows a knock sensor on the 1996 Ford Explorer - OBD II / EEC V system
The 2005 Ford Explorer computer is located beneath the dashboard, on the passenger side of the passenger compartment. The computer is house in a sealed box.
I need an answer to my question. how do you remove the dashboard to install CD player in a 2002 ford explorer. thank you.
The 2007 Ford Explorer computer module is located below the dashboard, on the passenger side. The computer module is in a rectangle steel box.
As far as I know , the 1994 Ford Explorer - 4.0 L - OHV engine does not have a knock sensor ( in 1996 when Ford went to OBD II / EEC - V the knock sensor was added on the 4.0 L - OHV engine )
It doesn't have a knock sensor on the 4.0 L OHV in a 1993 Ranger ( my 1995 Ford Explorer 4.0 L OHV engine doesn't have a knock sensor either )
The 2003 Ford Explorer cabin air filter can be found behind the dashboard, on the passenger side. The cabin air filter should be labeled as such.
If I recall correctly, it's under the dashboard on the driver's side, about where the left knee would be if someone was sitting in the driver's seat.
The " F " in Ford and the first " E " in Explorer would be capital letters
