starting with the redesigned 1998 altima the engine crankshaft was balanced much better to reduce vibration. we have a 1993 and a 1999 altima with the same engine and the 1999 is so smooth at idle i sometimes can't tell if it's running.
One possibility is brake(s) locking up.

no but if you can find an 88 to 92 tranny it will work fine
Engine capacity. It would be classed as 1.4ltr. Fine for a small or medium car.
noAnswerno the only years that will work are 93 to 94 ford probe, 93 to 94 Mazda 626, and 93 to 94 Mazda M6 and if its a (CD4E) Transmission good luck you will need it! Answerthe tranny form a 93-95 should work i swaped my auto out to a 5 speed from a 95 and my car is a 93 works fine few extra parts left over
well if it has the same engine layout as my 1993 190e in the front of the engine there is a fan, and that fan has a clutch integrated into it, to engage when the engine starts to over heat, and they do wear out which means you can stop the fan with your hand while the engine is running. not recommended to try doing with your fingers.
I have a 95 Pathfinder and had a similar issue. The engine would cut out when coming to a stop or making a turn but was fine when giving it gas. I had a fuel system flush done (but not a new fuel filter) and it has been fine since.
Hemphill Fine Arts was created in 1993.
my 1993 b250 5.2 v8 holds approx 5.2 quarts, but five 5 quarts is fine.
