May have snapped/jumped the timing chain.
Engine rod? Engine bearing?
Dead battery
It does not make any difference what color of anti-freeze you use in your 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier. The anti-freeze manufacturer can make their anti-freeze any color they choose.
that why we pray! just to make it today!
it's probably a rod knocking
if your asking if they make them in a automaticx..YES i got one
yes i have a diagram of a 1987 cavalier z24 fuse box from my owners manual, e-mail me at tfixit4me@yahoo.com and I will make you a copy & send it to you. I own a 1987 chevy cavalier z24 myself with a 2.8l v6.
It must be a TIMING CHAIN because the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc. ) does not list a timing belt for the 2003 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 liter
as long as the transmissions are the same yes but there may be a wiring difference as well as cv joint size difference To make this transmission work you would have to change all the electrical from the 2003 and put it into the 99 model year. This would be a very big job that most transmission shop will not touch
why bother, spend your money wisely. vehicles can be the worst investment you make.
Make sure the 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier horn fuse is in working condition. Make sure the positive and ground wires on the horn are tight and free of corrosion.
