A lean condition can cause your ATV to run hot and idle high. Start with the easy stuff first.... Check for vacuum leaks at the carb, and the tube connecting the carb to the head. An easy way is to start the ATV, and spray starting fluid around the carb and intake, if it revs or changes idle speed, you have a leak. (be careful, this can ignite too) If this is ok, check your air filter. Make sure you have one, and that it is not clogged. No filter is bad. If all is well there, pull the float bowl and pull the main jet out (unscrews). Make sure it is not clogged, clean it and then clean the needle seat which is straight up past the jet. Clean the idle jet and passages, then check your needle and slide inside (the part that moves up when you give it throttle). There should be very little play if any in the slide from side to side. Also check the needle for wear, and it should not move up and down in the slide.
Probably because of how fast they are. I don't know much of Prairie Dogs, but I know they are extremely fast.
5 mph
very fast
for one there is no such thing as a fast engine in a neon, so quit trying to soup them up!!!
to get answer fast
There could be a vacuum leak somewhere causing the engine to idle too fast. It would also cause the engine to run too lean and possibly burn a piston.
They can adapt to the grassland because they are fast to catch food
once your going fast enough you have to drop the clutch and it will roll the engine
The year, make and engine would be helpful but I would start with replacing the fuel filter.
Yea, they have a cruising speed of 45 mph, and accelerate during the chase :) pretty darn fast, though not as fast as a Peregrine
there is no real "fast" engine. Cars are fast, but engines are not. U would probably say that the most powerful car engine in the fastest car is bugatti's improved 1200 hp engine in its new bugatti supersport
