"Hannah received an honorable acclaim for her scholarship.""Jonathan got a critical acclaim on his report card for his failing grades."
Acclaim is another word for praise for a job well done. The actor has won acclaim for his starring role in the film.
Not knowing the year, make and model vehicle it limits how much we can help you. If the speedometer cluster is digital and both the speedometer and odometer is not working I would suspect the vehicle speed sensor is at fault. If only the speedometer is not working I would suspect the dash cluster is at fault.
Not lubricated
Year, make and model would help.
A worn or frayed speedometer cable will make the speedometer shouter. As the speedometer cable becomes more frayed the speedometer will eventually quit working.
you can't :D
Could be the TPS, it will cause it to idle high and low and make the car become sluggish, but a vehicle will run without one, but it will run very rough.
What exactly seems to be the problem? Do you have a digital speedometer or analog speedometer? the problem most encountered with a bad speedo is the gear in the transmission tail cone housing. make sure it isn't stripped the other problem could be the speedo itself. If it's analog then somewhere in there it is stripped out. If it's a logic type then usually the pulse board is gone.
The exact location of the speedometer cable is dependent upon the make and model of your 1994 pickup truck. In general, the speedometer cable goes from the speedometer to the speed sensor.
I had this problem with my ford escort wagon, i needed to bring it in to have it replaced. If i remember correctly there are springs and magnets inside that get wore out, and tend to make it skip, or hum. This could also lead to what i call Speedometer Slip, which is when the speedometer drifts up and down, not giving an accurate reading. e.g. I would be doing roughly 30mph, and it would say i was doing 70mph, and it would constantly change. I would look at prices to get a replacement cluster, if this is out of your price range, maybe you can google some local repair shops, or junkyards that could potentially have some spares laying around. -Eddie
