Probabaly not, for most people. If you are a student of speech, you would likely learn something. Reagan was an excellent speaker. Otherwise, a short outline would tell you all you need to know if you are a student of history.

Only 14% of Blacks voted for Reagan in 1980 and only 9 % in 1984 , so one would guess that most of them were unhappy that Reagan was elected.
I would say his marriage to Nancy was the most important. Second was probably his election as president.
