With Persephone's myth, the Earth/we know the seasons of spring, summer (when Persephone returns to the Earth, reigning with Demeter Queen of the Harvest/Earth) during autumn Persephone departs and dwells in the Underworld with Hades as Queen of the Underworld.
We already know these things, but this is how the ancient Greeks explained the seasons.
Persephone, as often as possible. ... >.> If you had a gorgeous wife, what would you like to do?
Her husband Hades, and her mother Demeter.
She could not then leave the Underworld, and would have to return for a portion of the year.
In the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Persephone would sneak lovers in and out of Underworld. They would break the pearl in order to travel between the world and the underworld. Percy needed the pearls to help save his mother from Hades.
Whatever Persephone pleased to look like, she could.
Greek myth does not relate much of the youth of Persephone/Kore.
His wife, Persephone.
Winter and Spring.
It would depend on the problem, but Persephone was a goddess of curses and magic and the Furies themselves answered to her whims - as Queen of the Underworld, it was not done to cross her. Yet Persephone could be kind.
None who opposed the will of Persephone would live happily, as she and Hades were death deities, and her father Zeus would make them as miserable above as they would be below, as well, Persephone herself commanded the Furies of the Underworld, sometimes named as their mother.
Many, for Persephone is daughter of Demeter and Zeus. Any child of her parents would be her sibling.
She did not need to carry anything: as Persephone is a goddess, she could create or destroy anything she had need of.
