Using the Lord's name in vain such as using His name as a way to express anger, hurt, surprise, or anything besides its true meaning. You should only say God's name if you are talking to Him or to somebody about Him. God's name has meaning!

it dates back to before ww 1. When people were shocked and wanted to blaspheme but couldn't they would say "Judas Priest" instead. It sounds similar to jesus christ.
