One parent would need to have:

type AO, AA, or AB

and

rh ++ or +-

and the other parent would need to have:

type BO, BB, or AB

and

rh ++ or +-

A person with AO or AA will have type A blood; a person with ++ or +- will have + as the rh factor; a person with BO or BB will have type B blood.

In other words neither can be O. And BOTH cannot be A or B or negative. As long as one carries A (by either being A or AB) and one carries B (by being either B or AB) a child can have AB blood. Negative is recessive therefore as long as one parent has positive blood it is fine. :)

Well A is a dominant trait meaning that both parents could have given A, or one parent is A and the other is O, O is recessive meaning to get O both parents have to give O. Now this is where it gets confusing a parent can have genotypes from their parents and if a person is O and has a mom that is A the person's blood type could be OA, when having a child the parent could give either A or O. So It's really hard to say, but I'd say you both are A, or one is O and one is A. since B is also dominant and if you were to have a child together and the dad was a and the mom was B the child would be AB. hope you inderstand it's really confusing.

Both parents could be A ( heterozygous )

Both could be B ( heterozygous )

or both could be O

or one is A and the other is B ( heterozygous )

to have a negative baby

both should be negative

or both is positive ( heterozygous ) but in this case the chance of having a negative baby is LOW.

one is Positive ( heterozygous ) and the other is negative, also the chance to have a negative baby is LOW.

One or both of the parents must have type negative blood (--) or type positive (+-) blood. Neither parent can have type positive (++) blood.

ABO blood type doesn't matter with +/-

Simple answer - NO. The child will always have the same blood group as one of its parents.

If a child does not have either one of his parents blood type is he there child?

yes. If one parent has blood group A (as in genotype AO) and the other has blood group B (as in genotype BO) can have a child with blood group O

If a father and mother of a child are o positive what blood group would the child be?

The child has to get his/her blood type from the parents. So therefore if both parents are O type then the kid has to be O type. This makes sense to me.

What will be the blood group of a child if the parents were bb?

If both parents are genotype BB, the child can only be blood type B. The child's genotype would also be BB.

Can parents both blood type O have a child with A negative blood?

No, At least one parent would have to be an A (or an AB) for a child to have group A blood.

Can O and A blood group parents have child?

Yes,but if the baby is blood type B then there is ABO incompatibility.

How does a A blood type mother AND a father have a -0 blood type child?

The mother and father both have heterozygous alleles for the blood group A. The blood group A can have the alleles AA or AO, when both parents are AO, there is a one in four chance that the child will have blood group O as this blood group is recessive.

Both parents are blood type A what will the child be?

The blood group of the child will be either A or O. The baby's blood group is always determine by the genotypes of his/her parents. Lets see following conditions: 1) Both parents have AA and AA blood type (both homozygous dominant): Their child would always have type A blood group (AA). 2) If any one of the parent has genotype AA and other AO ( i.e. one homozygous dominant and other heterozygous dominant): Their child would have type A blood group (AA or AO). 3) If both parents have genotypes AO ( both heterozygous dominant): Then their child would have either blood group type A or O ( i.e. AA /AO /OO). Just carry out the crosses by forming the gametes of the parents and check their recombination's. You will definitely understand this.
