BSA made several different air rifles. Unfortunately you did not state the model number and that is critical. You could try to contact BSA and ask them.
see the link below.
It was made in 1975
It was made in 1978
It was made in 1974
You need to state the model to even have a chance of identifying the age of the air rifle. There is no list of every air rifle by serial number.
It was made in 1974.
It was made in 1978. Today Crosman owns the Benjamin line of air guns.
It was made in 1969.
thats not my question! what year was air rifle benjamin sheriton 392 made in serial #14443 and #694701202
It would really help if you stated the model number. Also most older Benjamin serial numbers began with a "B" or "H" or "T".
Unfortunately their is no master record of every model air rifle made by model number that is compiled into one list. You will have to give some sort of description of the rifle. Is it a spring powered air rifle or C02 or Pump? Is it made out of wood or plastic? It is a BB or a Pellet air rifle. How long is it? About how old is it? Does it have any markings on it other than the serial number? Is it a multy or single shot rifle? without more information it is not possible to answer your question.
I was give a winchester 435 serial 71363325 is it worth any thing and what ammo does it use.I found that the Winchester model 435 air rifle was imported by Winchester from germany. They imported 8 different models from 1969-1973.A total of 19,259 were made during this time span. With a serial number of 98,it can be assumed that your .177 caliber pellet air rifle was made in the first year of importation which was 1969.
It is not possible to answer this question with just the serial number. It most likely is made in China
