No they don'tYou need to get all new wiring harnesses made for that year, new fenders from that year, new hood from that year, new bumper from that year, and then , yes they will work.
will radio out of 2001 cavalier fit 1999 cavalier
84-88
im told the frames will fit from 1999 thru 2002
No.. the chip "so-to-speak" is integrated into the key lock cylinder.
as long as the transmissions are the same yes but there may be a wiring difference as well as cv joint size difference To make this transmission work you would have to change all the electrical from the 2003 and put it into the 99 model year. This would be a very big job that most transmission shop will not touch
it was the year 1999.
You may be able to sue your employer if you can prove they would not have fired you but for your age; contact an attorney for more details.
The instructions should come with the tach. If there are none, get in touch with the manufacturer. no tachometer will work straight out of the box with a cavalier of that year, you must buy an adapter. it will only show half RPM
Need to know what year the engine is you are wanting use.
The 88 year transmission will not work in the 99 because of the computer in the 99. You need a 4L60E from the year 1993 to 1995 and then it goes to 1998 to 1999. 1996 and 1997 transmissions will not work. Now if your 99 is the NEW BODY DESIGN truck then you can use these year 4L60E transmissions. From LATE MONTH 1999 to 2006 will work.
Taking them apart is easy. Any ten year old can do it. It's the putting them back together so they work that is the hard part. Seriously, there's alot of knowledge involved in rebuilding a transmission. If every Tom, Dick and Harry could do it we wouldn't need mechanics. Take it to a good tranny shop and have the work done. Figure on $1500. If the Cavalier isn't worth that much, replace the car. t
