I think the question should ask "What Years" (Plural) There are too many to list, the most recent ones are from 1953 to the present time. The last ruling king (King George Vl) died in 1952 so I didn't count it, as he ruled for part of it.

There wasn't a king at that time. The Union of the Parliaments of England and Scotland was in 1707. The ruling monarch in 1707 was Queen Anne.
Brazil was founded in 1500 by Pedro Cabral.
Edward the Confessor was one of the last Anglo-Saxon kings of England and is usually regarded as the last king of the House of Wessex, ruling from 1042 to 1066.

There was no Britain in 1020. The King of England (basically Wessex) was the Danish King Canute, who had defeated Ethelred the Unready.
Because, as with any country ruled by a monarch, its citizens are 'subject' to the laws of the ruling king or queen.
Queen Elizabeth I was ruling England in 1597.
There has not been a monarch of England since 1707. England is a part of, but not the same as, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In 1725, the monarch was King George I, who reigned from 1714 to 1727. At that time he was King of The United Kingdom of Great Britain, and, separately, King of Ireland.
The ruling Monarch of the time was Queen Elizabeth I (1558-1603) and seeing that she never married, there was no King of England at the time.
