Nikola Tesla did not invent electricity, but he did come up with the poly phase AC system which the world runs on today. I believe he had the notion in his head long before a formal patent application was applied for. I believe 1887 he started work in his new laboratory and within a few months was able to apply patents on the entire poly phase system. (single phase, two phase, and three phase wiring)
He got this work from 1885 to 1890.
Yes. The Tesla coil, which he invented in 1891, is widely used today in radio and television sets and other electronic equipment for wireless communication. That year also marked the date of Tesla's United States citizenship.
He invented it around 1891.
Guglielmo Marconi is usually credited with the development of radio, not Tesla. Tesla is more known for patenting an AC induction motor, which became the basis for many electrical applications. Tesla experimented with wireless power transmission, seeking to compete with existing radio communication.
New York Tesla demonstrated "the transmission of electrical energy without wires" as early as 1891. When Tesla was 41 years old, he filed the first basic radio patent (No. US645576). The year was 1897.

Edison did not invent the battery. About 1875-1880, his assistant Nikola Tesla made the first practical long lasting storage battery improving on over 100 years of prior work.
Even dought Nikola Tesla did not have any kids, he still has relative living. The youngest relative is Danijela Tesla, a beatiful 19 year old girl. Danijela is not the only relatives he got.
In 1875, Tesla enrolled at Austrian Polytechnic in Graz, Austria, on a Military Border scholarship.
Nikola Tesla in the 1880's did so.
