during ww2 To my recollection of my history studies, Blacks fought in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War [both sides], the Spanish-American War, and although I cannot recall the names specifically, probably every other war the US has been involved in.
During the Revolutionary War, but only in the North. The Southern slave owners feared giving their slaves guns for obvious reasons.
