its isnt a term. it is when the present ruler dies its not like a president. she started her REIN in 1837. and she reined till she died.

Discounting those who may have died before her, lifespans being shorter in the nineteenth century, her Heir was her oldest son- Edward- who became King Edward in l902. one notes almost a full year of mourning before crowning Edward as rightful King. Victoria was in a long time- longest reigning Queen of England.
we think the silver jubilee was in 1862 not sure what month the celebrations were held though. It is quite likely that it would have been a 'low key' affair as her husband Prince Albert had died just one year previously. No coins were struck to commemorate this occasion.
