Yes. If you are referring to the war of 1967, the Gaza strip was occupied from Egypt by Israel that year.
Looking at just the year 2012 alone, it was about 11 months after the rockets from Gaza began falling by the hundreds onto Israeli towns.
The school year in israel starts in August 27
As of December 31st 1999 Israel maintained control of the Gaza Strip and a security corridor of Southern Lebanon. Israel has since withdrew from Gaza and Southern Lebanon. The Sinai was captured from Egypt in 1967 and returned after the Camp David Accords. The territories of the Golan Heights captured from Syria in 1967 and the West Bank from Jordan of the same year remain under Israeli control.
The Israelis unilaterally withdrew their settlements from the Gaza Strip in 2005. Israeli military incursions into the region happen occasionally, but the last large Israeli military presence in Gaza was as a result of Operation Cast Lead in late 2008 and early 2009. Israel has not withdrawn in any way from the West Bank.

7 hours most of the year. Since America and Israel start daylight saving time differently, it varies somewhat.
the same reason why Americans send 5 billion dollars every year of their tax money to help israel buy weapons and destroy the Gaza strip. also the money America promised ( hasn't sent yet ) is less than one billion dollars and less than 15% of the total amount pledged by countries to help Gaza.

It generally starts with Abraham, around the year 2000 BCE, though the establishment of an actual government in Israel happened nearly a thousand years later.
Answer 1Because israel wants to acquire as much land as possible through settlement developments on the west bank before Palestine becomes a state. once a Palestinian border is established israel cannot invade Palestinian territory without upsetting the rest of the worldAnswer 2Israel believes that the Palestinian Right to a State is contingent on their being interested in the peace process. Otherwise it is giving over territory to a militant entity and endangering its long-term survival. This view was strengthened when within a year of the Gaza Withdrawal, Gaza became a hotbed of fanaticism and militant behavior.
Some scholars have dated this event to Pentecost Sunday, 17 June 31 AD.
