Incorrect code... actually 3799349... 62-63 full size Chev or 63-64 Corvette. Thanks
Intake Manifold 140557055 is for a 283 SB Chevy.
mines a 350 and it has the same intake casting number as yours but in order to know for sure look at the back of the engine on the bell housing next to the head on the driver side and thats your casting number for your block. that will tell you for sure
That is the intake manifold casting number from a 1970 350 CI 300 HP engine.
1958 - 61 Corvette and Passenger 283 CI motor with Rochester WCFB , Carter 4 barrel or Carter WCFB.
I believe that's a 392 Chrysler hemi manifold, 1958.
Number 5 in the picture
Answer :There is one as a factory option. It is a canister attached to the intake manifold on the 265 cubic inch engines with oil lines running to the block. If there is not one attached to the intake manifold, then it was not equipped. Look at the casting number on the back of the block (back on the driver's side just below the head). If it is 3703524, then it did not come with one standard and was an option.
It will usually say the piston number on the intake manifold on most cars.
Remove the intake manifold.
Heads: Casting Number 3904390 - 1966-68 427, Intake 2.06, Exhaust 1.72, Closed Chamber, 98.4 CC.
they could have either 1.94 intake 1.50 exhaust or 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust
The air temp sensor is in the intake manifold, in the cylinder number 6 intake runner (drivers side, second cylinder from the front) in the lower intake manifold. The plug should have a yellow wire and a black wire.
