To find out how old your Mersman is you would need the model number. Once you find that out, you can get it appraised for sale if you wish to sell it.
The model 241 was made between 1935 and 1949. The "Speedmaster" designation was intruduced in 1936. There were approximately 7200 produced in the first year (1935). Your serial number is probably below 7200, therefore no Speedmaster will be on the receiver. You have a first year (1935) production gun
