Yes, 300 million year old "Fishing reel embedded in rock" allegedly found in the Tellico River in southwestern Tennessee at; http://www.apologeticspress.org/images/articles/reelinrockwithtape.jpg http://www.apologeticspress.org/images/articles/reelinrock.jpg Obviously, someone took part of a very old fishing reel and inserted it into some cuts and holes made into a rock to make it look like a fishing reel was embedded in a rock...
It has never been established that fishing reels were invented on any specific date: they feature in the artwork of Chinese origin that is in excess of 2000 years old!
The Zebco 600 was manufactured from 1970 up until 1984, when it was replaced by the 606.
Has to do with manufacturing date. 91-0 90-91 91-0 => First production year for this reel is 1991, this reel is in the 0 change set (no changes since first production). 90-91 => This reel was manufactured between Summer 1990 and Summer 1991. Since the reel model was introduced in 1991 it is safe to assume this particular reel was manufactured during Spring 1991. /Mooki
Shakespeare was born in 1564, if that's what you mean. That was the year he started being Shakespeare.
It depends on how much it is used. A good rule of thumb is to change it every year, or more if you fish a lot. Monofilament line degrades over time, especially if it is exposed to UV light from the sun.
Shakespeare wrote Othello in the year 1604
Shakespeare wrote an average of 1.5 plays each year.
I like an 8 foot ,medium action rod with a closed face reel for acurate casting. There are advantages to open face and bait casters reels but if you ae not fishing more then a couple times a year I suggest a closed face. You might want to look at getting some BulletBobbers from www.bulletBobber.com if you like fishing more then casting. Closed fac reels don't hold much line and aren't good for casting large plugs because it wears them out too quickly.
Fishing season is open all year around! -poop
its ok so long as the luv is reel
