Unknown. Shipped @ 1973
Need the serial number to answer.
that is determined by the revolvers serial number.....................
There really is no way to know exactly when it was made. Smith and Wesson makes parts in batches and there is no guarantee that a frame made today will be built today. The closest you can come is a date showing when it shipped from the Smith and Wesson wareshouse. This particular serial number was shipped @ 1958.
Smith and Wesson did not make a model C but did use the letter C as a prefix to a serial number for the models 10,11,12,45,and Aircrewmen. The serial number C353425 indicates that your S&W was made from 1954-1956 before Smith and Wesson started marking there revolvers with the model number on the cranes of there revolvers in 1957.
Smith and Wesson makes parts in batches. There is no guarantee that a frame made and serial numbered today will be built today. The best you can do is to get the approximate date it was shipped from Smith and Wesson to a distributor. If you had provided the serial number, an answer could be given.
@ 68
This is for SMITH and WESSON firearms.
It was built in 1983.
Call S&W and they will tell you when it left the factory. It will have been built sometime before that.
There is no way to know when it was built, unless it was a custom order. The best you can do is when it was shipped from the Smith and Wesson wareshouse. You will need to call Smith and Wesson to find out the ship date as publishe sn data does not cover this sn.
what year was a Hitachi excavator built with serial number 133 2797
Sorry, I can not help you with the serial number, but if you tell me the model or if there is no model on it the caliber and barrel length and if the butt is round or square I think I can tell you.
