It was made between 1936 and 1942
You question is not quite accurate. Daisy never made a BB GUN model 101. They did make a number 101 model 36 BB RIFLE not a gun it was made in Plymouth Mich.
Your winchester model 101 was made in 1966 by winchester.
1933 to 1935
I believe that your serial number should read 1,883,898,which indicates that your Model 101 dura-Matic was made very early in the year 1968.This model which was stamped on the right side of the slide M-101 was made from 1954-1970.
The Model 101 /33 was made between 1933-35. I found a few auctions that have prices that range anywhere from around $30.00 to $85.00. There was one auction for $115.00 but it didn't get any bids, so I would say that one asked too much. Otherwise, it likely depends on the quality of the gun.
Daisy did some bizarre numbering for a while, But here is what the Bluebook says. Daisy NO. 101 model 36 made between 1936 - 1942 Daisy NO. 102 model 36 made between 1936-40 nickel, 1941-42 & 1945-47 Blue. 1953 painted & wood stock, plastic stock in 1954, aluminum lever 1950. None made from 1947-49.
Your serial number indicates that your High Standard M-101 was made in the year 1956.
No sn data available. With the serial number that you supplied, your Winchester model 101 shotgun was made in December of 1969.
Proofhouse.com has Winchester sn tables.
