Martha Washington has only been pictured on four cent or eight cent stamps. They would be Scott numbers 636, 556 and 306. Consult a postage stamp catalog, they all have some nice value in mint condition.
In the US there were 7 cent stamps printed. Many of the definitive series of stamps included all denominations from 1 to 20 cents and then every 5 cents after that. And the Postcard rate for part of 1975 was 7 cents.
One cent would pay to send a postcard from about 1900 to 1950. There were 4 regular issues that I can think of for one cent stamps. All were green and - 3 pictured Franklin and one Washington. There was a special issue during WW II and at least one special issue during the depression.
