Normal flow, short nose GM aluminum water pump for a GM big block engine, such as 427. Vintage dated pumps like that were used on the legendary ZL1 engine back in '69. It is still produced by GM. I have one in 2002.

GM does not have a 5.4 liter it's most likely the 5.3 liter.
Depending on the year, GM primarily used the oil pressure sending unit as the switch for the fuel pump. There is no reset button for a GM. There is also a fuel pump relay.

fan clutch screws off water pump fan pump has left hand thread so to remove you need to turn clockwise
Looking at the engine from the front of the car, the water pump is on the left side. It is the front most & highest pulley being turned by the serpentine belt. Right in front of the power steering pump.
The water pump housing is the bottom radeator hose on the right side of the engine. You will need the GM water pump remover tool, you can rent one from Auto Zone or a similar store. remove the hose and the outer-caseing, the waterpump is now slightly visable. Use a .5 inch rachet with the GM tool and turn clockwise.

The optispark distributor which was used on GM LT series engine is on front of engine below water pump
It is a very in depth job you can do it with just basic tools but you have to remove many parts and drain the cooling system to get to the water pump it is a very confined space
