It depends on the country.
Jews are victimized nearly constantly in one part of the world or another. Some times (such as the Holocaust) are significantly more brutal than other times (Venetian ghetto-ization), but Jews have only been equal citizens in any country since the US Constitution guaranteed American Jews equal paper rights.
If this is a question specifically on World War II, Nazi Germany, and the Holocaust, Jews were victimized from 1935-1945.
The Jews in Germany.
Jews were "misunderstood" and so they were teased, bullied, tortured and killed.
Victimized - 2014 was released on: USA: 31 May 2014 (limited)
Many of the groups the Nazis victimized - Jews, Communists, homosexuals - were held in contempt by many German people. Also, many Germans benefitted financially from the Holocaust.
Just about any religious groups has been victimized, especially when they were a minority. For example, Christianity was victimized when they just started; later, once they became more powerful it was often the other way round (i.e., Christians killing people because they weren't Christians). For example, during the Middle Ages, when the Catholic Church was very powerful. However, today there are still cases of countries where Christians are in a minority, and get persecuted for being Christians. Other groups that have been victimized include Bahá'ís (in several countries, but especially in Iran), Muslims, Jews. There are probably others as well.
Jews were victimized in Nazi Germany - if that's what you're referring to - mainly because Hitler used them as a scapegoat for Germany's problems. 1) He claimed that there had been lots of Jews in government when the Treaty of Versailles was signed. (The government at that time were known as the 'November criminals' because the Treaty was signed in November). 2) It was easy to blame unemployment and economic problems on the Jews because the Jews often had well-paid jobs such as Accountants or money-lenders, and were stereotyped as being tight-fisted. Hitler played on these to create a hatred of the Jews.
Stalin was responsible for the Great Purge and the main group that was victimized by it was the members of the Communist Party.
there are still Jews around today.
The Jews were expelled from Spain in that year.
Every year.
When you are being victimized physically, it is when some one is hurting you physically. Whether it's kicking or hitting you, and this happens to you over your control, so youwould be the victim.
