1989-1995
The Spirit (Dodge) and Acclaim (Plymouth) were the last evolution of the original "K" cars. Those were very reliable automobiles, with excellent behaviour and still easy to maintain (compared to the "cloud" cars that followed Stratus, Cirrus), which by comparison, are a pain to fix, less reliable and sold much less units. The Dodge Spirit R/T 16-valve was the fastest sporty sedan made in America at that time, and many are still working perfectly after 20+ years, which demonstrates their underappreciated quality.
