It's a cautionary light. A solid yellow light is an indication that the light is about to change to red. If you are unable to reasonably come to a stop before the intersection, you are expected to proceed. If you can come to a stop before reaching the intersection, you are expected to stop in anticipation of the red light.

Hi and i have a problem i call Yellow light absolutely a stop light no question asked? And thats my opinion, But my my new and supposed to be business partner. This last month i tryed to operate my small business with this guy on a trail basic only as a partner and he only confuse everything i worked so very hard to start up the new business operations as a lumper this guy had to go he told me that he had a driver license so i took his word 2weeks into new old business operations come to find out the guy had no driver license what so ever / and more importantly i had adapted to his careless driving habits and i augmented with him just about every day? That it was not that important to not stop at the yellow let rather then proceed as if it was safe to step on the metal as yellow light mean green,light i got into a accident he only made things worst because I got confused by him i was in a accident because of him
