to phone people while remaining mobile :)
Because - if you're driving a vehicle - your only concern should be the safety of the people in your vehicle and the other road users ! Using a mobile-phone while driving reduces a drivers concentration - and distracts the driver from operating the vehicle safely. ANYONE who kills someone through using a mobile while driving - should be charged with murder ! Ask yourself the question - what's more important - using your phone or a person's life !
Even one is too many ! If you're driving a car you have no business using a mobile phone !! There should be a GLOBAL BAN on using a mobile while driving. You either drive the car or use the phone - not both !There should be much stiffer penalties for anyone causing an accident while texting. Here in the UK - offences range from 'driving without due care and attention' to 'causing death by dangerous driving'. Pesonally I'd like to see anyone killing a person because they were texting while driving, charged with at least manslaughter !
Don't use cellphone while driving ! Edit: Absolutely agree with the first answer. In the UK it's ILLEGAL to use a cellphone while driving. The current penalty is 6 points on your licence and £60 fine - for a first offence. You CAN lose your licence for repeat offences. WHY would you be using a mobile when driving anyway - If you're operating a vehicle, your SOLE responsibility should be complete concentration on the act of driving NOT using a mobile phone ! People DIE because drivers see their mobile phone as more important than paying attention to the road !
In Tennessee, it is generally legal to talk on the phone while driving, but there are restrictions.
