I suppose that you don't need to know any more than you want to know, but I hope that what you do know about Mormons is true, since there is a lot of false information out there.
The absolute basics are: Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) believe that all people are beloved children of God. They believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of mankind. They believe that as believers in Christ, they should emulate His example of love and service.
If you want to know more about Mormons you can visit their website, Mormon.org (link under "related links" below.)
You are entitled to disagree with Mormonism, but there is no need to be nasty about it. Answer: Mormons are a joyful, honest, faithful, kind, and generally humble people. You should get to know some. You may like them. Other than that, they are just like everyone else.

They don't, but we're starting to get annoyed. Why do people keep asking us Mormons about magnets? They're great, they stick to metal, they hang things on the fridge... whats the big deal? I don't know... someone started asking Mormons about magnets and we don't know why.
I don't know who "he" is, but I don't think there has ever been a killer or a deadly event in which only Mormons were spared from death - so I guess the answer is yes.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) does not release membership statistics for any geographical area smaller than a state, and therefore we cannot know for sure how many Mormons are in a specific city in Florida. We can assume that Mormons are spread like the regular population, with higher density near the large cities. If you need to know specific numbers for a project or report, you can contact a local Mormon leader for the area that you are researching. They will have the local membership statistics available.
Mormons believe that the church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth by Jesus Christ himself and that the church is led by Jesus Christ through living prophets and apostles. Mormons believe in the bible but the church is directed by revelation from God. Mormons believe that they can know the truth of this and be personally led by their own personal revelation.
