If under 18 you are not an adult and cannot sign legal contracts. Have your parents contact your insurance company for their recommendation as well. Most companies want you to have your own insurance if you are an adult and have the vehicle titled in your name only. The problem is that you still must be listed on each others insurance policies as drivers if you live in the same household.
