I am your age, and have done tons of research on this. It seems that shorter hairstyles are in now. It definitely depends on your face shape. Longer bobs are generally the thing that is happening now. Between shoulder and chin length usually with longer fringe (slightly below the brow line) or shorter side fringe. Try googling some flattering hairstyle ideas for your face shape.
