An ectopic pregnancy, also called eccysis, is a pregnancy where the fertilized ovum from the ovary implants itself somewhere other than the uterus of the woman.

The difference between an ectopic pregnancy and a tubal pregnancy is that "ectopic" refers to an egg that implants itself anywhere that is not the inside of the uterus; while "tubal" is a type of ectopi pregnancy where the egg implants itself somewhere within the fallopian tube. However, because tubal pregnancies are the most common type of ectopic pregnancy (over 95% frequency in natural conception), the words "ectopic" and "tubal" are often used interchangably.

Do you need an ultrasound to tell if you have an ectopic pregnancy?

Yes, you do. An ectopic pregnancy is just like a "regular" pregnancy for the first few weeks. Everything feels the same. An ultrasound is done early in a pregnancy to check things out, and if a pregnancy is ectopic, a good ultrasound technician will be able to spot it. There is no other non-invasive way to discover an ectopic pregnancy, and because of the risks posed by an ectopic pregnancy, it is critical to discover it early - if in fact there is one. Ectopic pregnancies are invariably life-threatening events, and prenatal care is important for that and many other reasons.

Can you conceive n same tube as you had ectopic pregnancy on?

It would depend if the tube was repaired or not. If you feel that you may have an ectopic pregnancy you should see your Dr or go to the ER right away.

Do pregnancy symptoms occur with an eptopic pregnancy?

Yes, women can have pregnancy symptoms during an ectopic pregnancy. The hormones produced by the mother and the embryo are the same.

I am 25 and had a tubal ligation in 2005. This is the first time ive felt pregnant since my tubal and was wondering if cramping continuously on my lower left side tender breasts tired nauseais norm?

Yes it is possible to become pregnant after having a tubal. The symptoms are still the same as in a normal pregnancy but if you are having pains in your sides you really need to see a doctor ASAP, you could have an ectopic pregnancy which can be fatal. Please be aware that there is still a small possibility of actually carrying the fetus to term but those chances are very very small. If you do have an ectopic, your tube(s) can burst and cause you to die. This is very serious!!! You might need medical attention. Best of luck...

What are the chances of conceiving again after having two ectopic pregnancies and having one tube remove?

chances of pregnancy may still be high, but chances of another eptopic pregnancy may be higher. eptopic pregancies are mostly cause to tubal blockage etc. If you still have some type of tubal/introuteral issue you may end up pregnant in the same situation. this is something i would speak with your doctor about. Its best if you want to conceive to make sure you have no female issues that will create a problem like eptopic pregnancy. im sure you and your doctor can check it out and you can be pregnant and have a healthy baby in no time. best wishes! :)

You have pain on same side as last ectopic pregnancy does that mean you are having another one?

Yes is possible

Are the signs of a tubal pregnancy the same as a non-tubal one?

Very early signs, up to five weeks, are very similar, breasrt tenderness, nausea etc but then a tubal pregnancy usually becomes extremely painful as the growing embryo stretches the tube. It can also be extremely dangerous.
