∙ 11y agoI believe the iPad is a tablet. So essentially, an iPad is a tablet but a tablet is not an iPad. A "tablet" is a handheld device that essentially has a single touch-sensitive screen. It's also sorta like a square-rectangle kind of thing- a square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square.
