What's the point of Minecraft

The point is to build, mine, explore, craft things, kill things, make potions, enchant stuff, make fire works, blow stuff up, and lots of other things!

The point of minecraft is what you make of it. You could make minecraft completely pointless - if you looked at it that way! Minecraft is a sandbox indie game, with really no goal (unless you decide to make one!). However, you can make a point in the game of Minecraft by simply thinking up of tasks to do, for example, building a mansion or collecting a certain amount of diamonds, or even beating the enderdragon. Minecraft does NOT have a true ending. Yeah I know the end sounds like the end, but that's just the name of the dimension the ender dragon dwells in. When you beat the ender dragon and go through the portal that appears, a long conversation (like credits) that is talking about your chRacter appears. Then, if you wait through that, the credits will pop up. That does not mean it's the end, there is still plenty of things you can do.
