Standard screw and locknut adjusters. Set the clearance when the engine is cold. Be sure to set each valve with cylinder at TDC. (top dead center) I suggest replacing the valve cover rubber gasket when adjustig the valves, as they do get old and can crack/leak.

There would be 0 backlash on a hydraulic cam. If you asking about piston to valve clearance, you would want about .100" , but shouldn't need to worry about it if it's stock.
