From your description it sounds like it MIGHT be a bad throwout bearing.
to adjust cluch 3 spped trans 1963 c20
yes. the cluch position sensor prevents it from starting.
try replacing the clutch or check your hydraulic cluch fluid. the fluid tank is located on the firewall, lefthand side.
no it has a different cluch pack
Do you have the right tools for the job? Purchase the repair manual or alldata.
your cluch could be gone!
Check the hydraulic fluid in the clutch master cylinder. It could also be a worn/warped clutch plate or a problem with the cluch hydraulic system.
You put it in drive and press the gas. It drives just like a normal automatic transmission.
The short answer for this is, "how much do you want to spend?" Anything is possible with a car, but it just depends on how much you want to pay for it. Changing a transmission will require, at the least, the new transmission, shifter linkage and shifter, pedal cluster, and transmission computer. It might also require a new ECU. Your best bet is to sell your car and buy one with the transmission you like. the ONLY v6 tt I know is 3.2 not sure they can be 2000, but they are all AT (double cluch)
Do you mean clutch slave cylinder,if so ,its bolted on side of transmission, with rubber cover,if leaking, replace and bleed.
Of course.
1) exsellerate out 2) cluch in (hold) 3) change gear 4) cluch out 5) ecselerate :D
