Sometimes things on the inside of vehicles stop working. If the power outlet in a Plymouth voyager stops working, a person should change the accessory fuse in the fuse box.
I would check to be sure the power cord is securely attached, both to the computer and to the outlet. If you are hooked into a surge protector or outlet adapter, but sure it is on and not in need of being reset. Then be sure the wall outlet is working (plug in a lamp or radio or something). (Be sure, too, that your screen is powered on - I have had people who thought their computer was off when it was just their screen was not turned on!) If everything appears to be working and plugged in and your computer still will not boot up, I would either call a service technician, or carry it in to be checked - it could be the power supply inside of your computer box.
The simple fix is turn the power to the receptacle off, change the receptacle out for a new one. Re energize the circuit and you are good to go.
Inside an outlet there are conductors: hot, neutral, and sometimes ground. The rest of the inside of an outlet is insulator, to keep these conductors from shorting.
Check the AC outlet for voltage
A person will need an outlet in order to plug a computer in order to have a computer working in a lab. They will also need the cords to hook the monitor to the tower.
First, check the circuit breakers; make sure they are all ON. Find out if any other outlets on the same breaker are working; it's always possible that a breaker is faulty. If the breaker is on and everything else on the circuit is working, it could be as simple as a poor connection inside the outlet. Also even though the outlet is not a GFCI, it may be fed from a GFCI outlet. Check near by outlets to see if any are GFCI and are tripped.
an AC Adapter allows you to plug your computer into a standard wall outlet
An extension cord is a long power cord that plugs into an outlet and receives with an outlet. A computer cord just uses one long cable to transfer power to the computer from the outlet.
Do that
It all depends on the brand
