When Matthew has Jesus say, "For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you," He is at most talking of the Holy Spirit, not representing the Spirit as part of the Holy Trinity. When we look at the key words, "the Spirit of your Father," it is even less like the later Christian idea of three persons in one but seems to excludes Jesus from a close relationship with the Spirit.
This is the only reference that mentions all three persons of the Holy Trinity, apart from 1 John 5:7, the "Johannine Comma", which first appeared in the manuscripts in the fifth century. Matthew's reference, while naming the divine persons, does not suggest that they were one.
The Trinity is mentioned to God, jesus and the Holy Ghost. What? I don't get that explanation....
Matthew's Gospel does not really mention the Holy Trinity, even indirectly. The Trinity was first proposed by Tertullian at the beginning of the third century. The only apparent biblical reference to the Holy Trinity is in 1 John 5:7-8 (the Comma Johanneum), which is considered by most scholars to a Latin corruption introduced in the fifth century
Bla bla blaAnswer:The Scripture never mentions a 3 person 'trinity.' It is a concept of men who were trying to define the Godhead. Yet, John 1:1-3 defines it for them.
No. In fact, not even the New Testament mentions a Trinity, apart from 1 John 5:7-8 (the Comma Johanneum) considered by most scholars to a Latin corruption introduced in the fifth century to help justify the doctrine of Trinity.
A very common representation of the symbol is with a circle that goes through the three interconnected loops of the Triquetra. The circle emphasizes the unity of the whole combination of three forces. It is also said to symbolize God's love around the Holy Trinity.
No, Satan does not have a trinity like God has a trinity.

Matthew 28 v19 is referring to baptism and entering God's spiritual family by receiving his spirit.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" - Matthew 28:19 (The Great Commission)...To the best of my knowledge, the word "trinity" is never used, at least not in the KJV.
Jesus was setting an example for us on when and how we should pray when we need it the most. The bible does mention the trinity in the Book of Genesis. For example. it mentions "let us make man in our own likeness". People who do not realize that Jesus is the messiah are blind, but they will find out that he is the truth and the way of life.
